Ministerial Association.
Affirming, equipping, and credentialing Spirit-empowered ministers worldwide.
Credentials for the Called.
The Logos University Ministerial Association (LUMA) provides ministerial credentials to individuals called to serve Christ through preaching, teaching, pastoral care, evangelism, counseling, and other ministry expressions.
LUMA exists to equip and affirm ministers who desire a strong spiritual covering and a meaningful connection to the mission of Logos University — strengthening and celebrating those called to serve through recognized credentials, leadership coaching, and support for both individual and church development.
Our Purpose
Recognize and affirm God's call on an individual's life
Provide accountability, covering, and ministerial identity
Support ministers through training, fellowship, and ongoing development
Maintain high standards of biblical integrity and ethical conduct
Two Paths of Recognition.

The Credential Year.
LUMA credentials follow a calendar-year cycle, January 1 through December 31. All credential holders are invoiced on the same schedule regardless of when they were first approved.
October 1 – December 31
Renewal Window
Renewal billing for the upcoming credential year begins October 1. Submit your renewal form and payment during this window to maintain uninterrupted active status.
January 1 – January 31
Grace Period
Credentials remain active during the grace period, but a $50 late fee applies in addition to the standard renewal fee. All renewal requirements must be completed before January 31.
February 1 onward
Lapsed
Credentials not renewed by February 1 move to lapsed status and are no longer active. Reinstatement requires a formal request, the annual renewal fee, the $50 late fee, and updated references or documentation if requested.
LUMA encourages all ministers to renew promptly each fall to maintain uninterrupted credential status. Full renewal, reinstatement, and late-fee details are provided in the credentialing handbook.
Ministerial Expectations.
LUMA requires all applicants to undergo a background check to ensure the integrity of the credentialing process. Credential holders are expected to maintain moral purity, financial integrity, healthy relationships, respect for civil law, and accountability to spiritual leadership.
Failure to uphold these standards may result in suspension or revocation of credentials.
Credential holders are expected to
- Live a life consistent with biblical holiness
- Maintain doctrinal alignment with LUMA
- Demonstrate integrity in ministry and personal life
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical counseling practices
- Avoid divisive behavior or false teaching
- Maintain active involvement in a local church
