Nearly Five Decades of Formation.

Since 1977, Logos University has remained faithful to its founding conviction: that Spirit-empowered leaders are formed, not merely educated.

Institutional History

A Story of Faithful Formation.

1977

Founded in Orlando, Florida

Logos University was established with a singular vision: to equip Spirit-empowered ministers of the Gospel for local churches and global mission. From the beginning, the institution was defined by its commitment to Spirit-filled theological formation — not merely academic credential.

1985

International Expansion Begins

The first international students enrolled, extending Logos's ministry formation reach into Latin America, Africa, and Asia. This marked the beginning of what would become a global network of Spirit-empowered leaders trained under the Logos formation model.

1992

Graduate Programs Established

The curriculum expanded to include graduate-level theological education, deepening the institution's academic scope without compromising its formational heart. This expansion allowed Logos to serve experienced ministry leaders seeking advanced theological preparation.

2001

Online Learning Platform Launched

Logos University launched its online learning platform, enabling students in active ministry — pastors, church leaders, and missionaries — to pursue theological formation without stepping away from the congregations they were already serving. This became a defining feature of the Logos model.

2008

Church Partnership Program Established

A formal church partnership program was established, embedding theological education directly within local church communities through the cohort model. This initiative represented Logos's deepest expression of its conviction that formation belongs inside the Church, not outside it.

2015

Regional Directors Appointed Across 20+ Nations

International regional directors were appointed across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, marking Logos's most significant period of global growth. Leaders in South Africa, Burkina Faso, Korea, and the Arab world joined the Logos network, establishing regional formation hubs on multiple continents.

Today

40,000+ Leaders Formed Across 30+ Nations

Logos University continues to equip Spirit-empowered leaders across more than 30 nations, through 45+ partner churches, and within a growing global community of faithful ministers. The institution remains anchored in the same convictions that founded it in 1977 — Scripture, Spirit, and service.
