What We Believe.
The theological convictions of Logos University are not peripheral to our mission — they are the soil in which all formation is grounded.
Grounded in Orthodox Faith.
The theological commitments of Logos University are rooted in classical Pentecostal and evangelical orthodoxy — affirming the historic faith of the Church while embracing the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit.
These beliefs are not merely institutional statements. They are the convictions that shape our curriculum, our community, and our vision for what Spirit-empowered formation looks like.
We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God. Scripture is sufficient, authoritative, and alive — the final standard for all matters of faith and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16–17 · 2 Peter 1:21
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We affirm the full deity of each person of the Trinity, co-equal and co-eternal.
Deuteronomy 6:4 · Matthew 28:19 · Acts 2:32–36
We believe God created humanity in His image and likeness, both male and female, with inherent dignity. The fall of mankind brought the universal need of redemption.
Genesis 1:26–27 · Romans 5:12
We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift of God by grace through faith, not of human merit.
John 3:16 · Ephesians 2:8–9 · Ephesians 1:7
We believe that in order to receive salvation, a person must be born again — born of water and of the Spirit. The new birth transforms character, identity, and purpose.
John 3:3–5 · 2 Corinthians 5:17
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, is given to believers as an endowment of power for life and ministry.
Acts 2:4 · Acts 19:6 · Joel 2:28
We believe it is the will of God for every believer to be filled with the Spirit and to walk in the gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in Scripture, for the building up of the Church.
1 Corinthians 12:8–10 · Galatians 5:22–23 · Ephesians 5:18
We believe divine healing is provided for in the atonement of Jesus Christ and is the privilege of all believers. God is still the healer today.
Isaiah 53:5 · James 5:14–16 · Mark 16:18
We believe in the ordinance of the Lord's Supper, by which believers commemorate the sacrifice of our Savior, proclaiming His death until He comes again.
1 Corinthians 11:23–26 · Luke 22:19–20
We believe every believer has a biblical responsibility to be committed to a local body of believers. The Church is called to carry the Gospel to every nation, making disciples of all peoples.
Hebrews 10:25 · Matthew 28:19–20
We believe in the imminent, personal return of Jesus Christ. Every person will stand before God in final judgment; those who receive Christ inherit eternal life, those who reject Him face eternal separation from God.
Revelation 19:11–16 · Revelation 20:12
We believe God created human beings as male and female, each bearing His image. Marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman. Human life is sacred from conception to natural death, created and sustained by God.
Genesis 1:27 · Genesis 2:24 · Matthew 19:4–5 · Psalm 139:13–16
